A Last Minute Call To Mary Kate Olsen Links To Heath Ledger's Death?

Wow it seems that numerous articles, including this one just out from E! News connects Mary Kate Olsen to Heath Ledger's death. According to officials, 40-year-old massage therapist Diana Wolozin found Ledger unconscious in the SoHo apartment, where he had spent the past five months. Woolzin found his cell phone and began scrolling through his speed dial contacts.

She recognized Olsen's name and, knowing the two were friends, dialed the 21-year-old entertainment mogul. (Subsequent reports have indicated the pair, who initially met in 2006, had casually been dating in the months leading up to the 28-year-old's death.)

Wolozin managed to reach Olsen, who was in Los Angeles after returning from a brief stint at the Sundance Film Festival.

In the first phone call, which lasted just 39 seconds, Olsen said she would send her private security guards to the apartment. It's unclear what was discussed in the second and third phone calls, lasting 49 seconds and one minute, 39 seconds. Wolozin finally placed the call to 911 nine minutes after first contacting the Full House star.

The final call to Olsen was placed at 3:34 p.m., per NYPD records, as the paramedics and security dispatch arrived simultaneously at the apartment. At 3:36 p.m., Ledger was pronounced dead. (Emergency workers refused to allow Olsen's three-man detail into the apartment.)

Officials have stated Ledger was already dead by the time Wolozin found the body.

Telegraph.co.uk also report that Heath Ledger's masseuse changes story which further enshrouds the actor's death in een more mystery than when this whole thing started. However this should be cleared up soon as test results due back early next month are expected to show whether Ledger died from an accidental drug overdose, after six types of prescription drugs were found in his home.

Heath Ledger Passes Away - Drug Overdose?

CNN reported that an autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday as family and colleagues mourned the death of Academy Award-nominated actor Heath Ledger.

The article goes on to say that Ledger was found dead Tuesday of a possible drug overdose in a Lower Manhattan apartment, the New York Police Department said. Ledger was 28. He was found naked and unresponsive, facedown on the floor at the foot of his bed by a housekeeper trying to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse, said police spokesman Paul Browne.

"Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed," he told CNN. "This is being looked at as a possible overdose, but that is not confirmed yet."

Police later told reporters some prescription medications were found in the room, including sleeping pills. But he stressed police have made no determination of the cause of Ledger's death -- that would be done by the medical examiner.

He said the pills were not "scattered about."

No note was found and there was no indication of foul play, Browne said. Ledger was found at about 3 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel about 3:30 p.m.
A crowd of onlookers, photographers and reporters gathered outside the apartment building after news of Ledger's death was reported. Police officers were guarding the doors.

Browne said he did not know how long Ledger had been renting the apartment, which he said took up the entire fourth floor. An autopsy would be conducted on Wednesday, said Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for the New York City medical examiner's office.

Ledger's family on Wednesday called his death "very tragic, untimely and accidental."

This charismatic Australian heart-throb, often billed as the next Mel Gibson, and in recent years made huge strides forward to become one of the most acclaimed, intense, and promising young stars of his generation. He starred in 2005's Brokeback Mountain, teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Monster's Ball (2001) and Ned Kelly (2003)

Ledger had completed work as The Joker in Christopher Nolan's Batman sequel The Dark Knight, which is due for worldwide release this July. He pulls it off splendidly too in this photo.

Zac Efron Reacts To Paparazzi Pictures Of Himself And Vanessa Hudgens

Apparently Zac Efron is aghast at pictures of himself and girlfriend - Vanessa Hudgens being taken even during their vacation

According to Portable Planet, “At that point it was inconceivable,” he said in a recent interview with the magazine Details. “I had no idea that anyone could ever care. That happens to, like, big stars. I woke up and my dad told me that I was in a newspaper on the beach—he made fun of me, he said I was ‘frollicking.’”

Efron said that while still on that vacation in Hawaii, “the photographer left me a note with a disc of all the pictures, and on the note it said, ‘Thanks for the Range Rover!’”

Well, he's lucky this paparazzi was nice enough to give him a copy with a note to say thanks, instead of the usual hounding and chasing... among other things.

One word of advice, you're in the spotlight now Mr. Zac Efron you better get used to it. With images like this one from Teenscoop Files, it could get worse.

Ashley Tisdale And Her New Nose

Ashley Tisdale says she was somewhat distressed when she first saw her new profile after her recent nose job

She "kind of freaked out," the 22-year-old actress-singer tells People magazine in its January 28 issue. "I was so swollen, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, is it going to stay like this?' "

Tisdale says she doesn't regret having the surgery but is sorry she decided to sing in public two weeks later.

Since performing at last month's Z100 Jingle Ball concert in New York, she has suffered a backlash from fans who say they barely recognize the actress they loved as scene-stealing Sharpay in the Disney Channel TV movie "High School Musical" and its sequel.

"People were saying I was 'unveiling my look,' but I was still recovering! That's not what I look like right now," she tells the magazine.

Tisdale says her face looked "practically paralyzed" in photos of the December 15 event but she is now able to make facial expressions and even scrunch up her nose.

"I think I still look like me," she says.

Tisdale had surgery November 30 to correct a deviated septum that worsened over the years and contributed to breathing problems. She says her nose had changed shape and "was leaning in a different direction" after being fractured twice.

She begins shooting the "High School Musical 3" feature film in April.

Tisdale says she decided to talk about her surgery because she "didn't want to play a game of denying it or being coy."

"I wanted my fans to know because I don't take plastic surgery lightly," she says

Worst Dressed Celebrity 2007 - Victoria Beckham

I don't think she's that bad but according to NY Daily News, the former Spice Girl became 2007's biggest fashion victim on Tuesday when style snipe Mr. Blackwell named her the worst-dressed celebrity of the year.

It's not the first time Posh Spice made the dreaded list.

Blackwell listed the Spice Girls as No. 1 in his 1998 worst-dressed list, deriding the group as "the only spices on the planet that have no taste."

No one will quibble over his No. 2 choice for 2007: British singer Amy Winehouse, the high-haired hellion known more these days for her grungy wardrobe than her warbling. "Exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below," mocked Blackwell.

New Bond Girl - Olga Kurlyenko From Hitman

Olga Kurlyenko who previously starred in Hitman is to be 007's sidekick for the still untitled Bond flick. The article from Reuters mentions that the Ukrainian actress joins a long list of leading ladies to be cast alongside the super spy including Ursula Andress in "Dr No," Halle Berry, Kim Basinger and most recently Eva Green in "Casino Royale," which grossed nearly $600 million in worldwide ticket sales.

She will star opposite British actor Daniel Craig who made his first appearance as the secret agent in "Casino Royale"

In the past, being a "Bond girl" has given actresses massive exposure and launched lucrative careers.

A former model, Kurylenko ,was most recently seen alongside Timothy Olyphant in last November's "Hitman." Looks like they're trying to get a more diverse stereotype model for the Bond girl. This is a refreshing change from the blond blue eyed model.

Nicole Kidman Confirmed Pregnant

NY Daily News reported on this more than a week ago, and now actress Nicole Kidman has made it official - she's pregnant.

The actress’ spokeswoman confirmed it Monday, and according to the brief statement Kidman and husband Keith Urban are thrilled.

Kidman, 40, has been very public about her desire to have a family with Urban, whom she married in June 2006.

Kidman adopted two children, Conor, 11, and Isabella, 15, during her marriage to Tom Cruise. And in an interview published last month in U.K. Marie Claire magazine, she revealed she also had two failed pregnancies during that time.

Britney Spears Wheeled Away By Paramedics After Refusing To Turn-over Children In A 4 Hour Stand Off

My dream girl has emphatically went down the deep end. According to Seattlepi.com, tonight at Spears' home, while allegedly on some sort of drugs, Britney refused to hand over her children to Kevin's bodyguard at the court appointed time. The standoff lasted over four hours, and police, as well as Kevin himself came to confront the pop star.

With Britney Spears, indeed life is stranger than fiction. Here's an image of her from TMZ as she is carted off by paramedics.

According to TMZ, Britney is being taken to a local hospital on a "medical hold" -- essentially a mental evaluation. Cops found her earlier this evening at her home under the influence of an "unknown substance."

At least in this image she looks far better than she normally does these days. For someone who seems very unstable, she looks rather "happy" in this picture - surreal as that may seem.
