Miley Cyrus has a passion for... Ketchup? Watch Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana Gobble up a Bottle Of Ketchup On Jay Leno Live

Straight from MSNBC, the multi-talented Miley Cyrus unveiled one of her hidden habits during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” — she likes to drink ketchup right from the bottle.

“You also drink ketchup, which seems odd,” Jay said to Miley, who was a guest on the show along with dad Billy Ray.

“There’s nothing odd about it,” the “Hannah Montana” star smiled. “It’s just good.”

Apparently not buying into the idea, Jay asked his audience what they thought about a refreshing mouthful of condiment.

“Is it odd to drink ketchup from the bottle?” Jay asked the crowd, drawing a mix of cheers and jeers, and even a nod of agreement from dad Billy Ray.

“But it’s really good. If it tastes good, what does it matter?” Miley replied.

And apparently, not only is ketchup delicious, but it’s also good for you.

“It’s a liquid technically,” she laughed. “It’s half the calories.”

Without further adieu, Jay grabbed a bottle of ketchup from behind his desk and put the tween star to the test.

Sticking by her word, Miley didn’t disappoint, as she quickly grabbed the bottle from Jay.

“Wait, I gotta shake it. Sorry if it gets everywhere,” she smiled, as she popped the cap, poured the ketchup in her mouth and proudly showed off her mouth full of ketchup.

Jimmy Kimmel's "I'm F*cking Ben Affleck" Music Video With Cameos By Brad Pitt, Josh Groban, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz and Harrison Ford!

You've got to watch this Jimmy Kimmel's "I'm F*cking Ben Affleck" Music Video! It is absolutely hilarious! The first video starts with Sarah Silverman singing a song called "I'm f*cking Matt Damon."

But then Jimmy Kimmel gets revenge by singing "I'm f*cking Ben Affleck!" It's absolutely cool. They've got so many stars in on the game that it's just hilarious! Brad Pitt is there, Harrison Ford, Robin Williams, Cameron Diaz, Josh Groban... they've got the whole "We Are The World" thing going... My favorite part has got to be Josh Groban, it is just funny and somewhat disgusting all at the same time! I can't believe he was able to keep a straight face.

Here's an interview with Ben Affleck too. Sarah's video is a crying shame beside this one. It is absolutely classic! Ben Affleck looks like he's gay and so does everyone else from Brad Pitt to Harrison Ford! Watch the video -- Jimmy Kimmel's "I'm F*cking Ben Affleck" Music Video.

David Archuleta's Rendition Of John Lennon's "Imagine" Proves He Is An "American Idol"

When I arrived to work today, I barely got there when everyone was already talking about the performance of David Archuleta on "American Idol." Everybody had their own opinions. But mostly everyone just loved it.

Paula Abdul was left in tears. Some say that the rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine" was even borrowed (read this review from LA Times), but at this point who really cares?

The boy is shoe in to become the next "American Idol," and if not - a record deal for sure. Everybody else might as well pack up and go home. He's just adorable.... and he can sing too.

Micheal Jackson's Neverland No More? Jackson's Neverland To Be Auctioned Unless $25M Debt Is Paid

Michael Jackson owes nearly $25 million for the sprawling California property called Neverland (named after an island in the story Peter Pan), which he bought in 1987 intending to create a fantasy-land for children. This $25 million is said to be more than three months' arrears on the property. If unpaid Neverland will be auctioned off on March 19 Santa Barbara official told the BBC.

What is Neverland you say? Well it's on 2,800 acre (1,100 hectare) property north-west of Santa Barbara that includes a zoo and fairground.

The erstwhile King of Pop has been living mainly in Las Vegas since returning to the United States a little more than a year ago following extended stays in Bahrain and Europe. He hasn't lived at Neverland, which he bought in 1988 for $17 million, since 2003, when police first raided his home while building a child molestation case against him. Jackson was acquitted of all charges in 2005 and immediately left the country according to an E!online article.

Per court documents obtained by Fox News, the auction would really bleed the property dry. It would include not just the grounds and buildings on the property, but all of the furnishings, appliances and various child-friendly accoutrements Jackson has added over the years, including "all merry-go-round type devices."

The list is mighty thorough:

  • "Generators, engines, boilers, incinerators, building materials, appliances and goods of every nature whatsoever…including…those for the purposes of supplying or distributing heat, cooling, electricity, gas, water, air and light…
  • "plumbing, bathtubs, water heaters, water closets, sinks, ranges, stoves, microwave ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, disposals and any other kitchen equipment…
  • "all trees, shrubs and plants, sculptures, statuary and other outdoor artistic creations and displays…
  • "all railroad equipment, trains, locomotives, rail cars and other rolling stock…
  • "all Ferris wheels, carousels, merry-go-round type devices, indoor and outdoor gymnasium and athletic equipment…"

Worst Films In 2007 Awarded To Lindsay Lohan and Eddie Murphy

After such an incredible response from Lindsay Lohan's pictorial ala Marilyn Monroe, Lindsay's name gets dragged in mud once more as she receives an exclamation point on her terrible 2007 at the 28th annual Golden Raspberry Awards on Saturday morning, with her film "I Know Who Killed Me" earning a record eight Razzies -- including three for Lohan herself according to CCN.com's entertainment article.

"I Know Who Killed Me," a thriller the Razzie organizers described as a cross between "the 'Hostel'/'Saw' genre of 'teen torture porn' and ... the old 'Patty Duke Show,' " picked up Razzies for worst director, worst screenplay, worst excuse for a horror movie, worst remake or rip-off, worst screen couple (Lohan's portrayal of two identical-looking characters), worst actress (two trophies for a tie between Lohan and Lohan) and worst film of the year.

"I Know Who Killed Me's" achievement surpassed -- if that's the correct word -- the seven Razzies won by "Showgirls" (1995) and "Battlefield Earth" (2000).

Eddie Murphy, whose "Norbit" was up for eight Razzies, also won three awards -- worst actor, worst supporting actress and worst supporting actor.

Murphy is "the Woody Allen of our awards," noted the Razzie presenters, observing the comic actor had been nominated as a writer as well as a performer.

"I Know Who Killed Me" and "Norbit" won all but one Razzie category. That last honor, worst prequel or sequel, went to "Daddy Day Camp," a follow-up to a Murphy vehicle, "Daddy Day Care," that substituted Cuba Gooding Jr. for Murphy in the lead role. ("And we all know how high his standards are," the presenters said of Murphy.)

The Razzie show, which moved to the Abracadabra Theater at Santa Monica's Magicopolis complex after several years at a Hollywood theater, led off with a tribute to its 10 a.m. start time, "Good Morning Razzie Day," a parody of "Hairspray's" "Good Morning Baltimore."

The show also got in knocks at the writers strike, the Golden Globes and "Daddy Day Camp" star Gooding, who was described as having "a career trajectory only a masochist could envy."

Among the Razzies' "losers": the Adam Sandler film "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," which was nominated for eight Razzies and won zero, making it the "Turning Point" (0-for-11 at the Oscars) of the Golden Raspberries.

"It shows that even Adam Sandler has a hard time catching up to Lindsay Lohan or Eddie Murphy when they're at their worst," Razzie creator John Wilson told CNN.

"Though," he added, "I thought Rob Schneider would win over Murphy" for best supporting actor.

Both performers played cliched Asian characters in their respective movies.

But, in general, it was Lohan's show, with the actress and "I Know Who Killed Me" steamrolling over competition that included "Bratz: The Movie," "Who's Your Caddy?", "Epic Movie," "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem," Diane Keaton in "Because I Said So" and Jessica Alba in "Awake," "Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer" and "Good Luck Chuck."

Wilson was asked if he was surprised that Lohan did so well, given that she may have earned some sympathy from Razzie voters given her rough 2007, which included two arrests, three stints in rehab and community service.

Wilson said that though Lohan was in another 2007 stinker, "Georgia Rule," she was actually decent in that film and the Razzie voters "left her alone," admitting that -- given her Razzie haul -- "that's small compensation."

Britney Finally Gets To See Her Kids After More Than A Month

Britney Spears was reunited briefly with her sons just this Saturday according to International Herald Tribune, spending about three hours with the two little boys nearly two months after the troubled pop star last saw them.

Spears' father, James, played a key part in making possible the visit with Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2, said Elliot Mintz, a spokesman for Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Mintz wouldn't say where the reunion took place or who else was there, but People magazine reported that Spears' psychiatrist was present.

Spears had not been allowed to see the boys since Jan. 3, when she refused to return the children after a visitation. Police were called to her home, and a scene ensued that ended with Spears being taken to the hospital. She was hospitalized a second time four weeks later.

The visit came a day after Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan announced that the couple "agreed to a modification of the court's order" that had stripped Spears of her visitation rights.

Spears' parents went to Los Angeles around the time of her second hospitalization and have pushed to restore visitation rights to help their daughter recover.

A court commissioner gave Federline sole physical and legal custody of the former couple's boys and suspended Spears' visitation rights on Jan. 4.

Leading up the hospitalizations, Spears enaged in bizarre public behavior. Since divorcing Federline in November 2006 she shaved her head, was seen in public without underwear, ran over a celebrity photographer's foot and attacked a vehicle with an umbrella.

Jennifer Lopez Just Gave Birth To Twins In New York!

Breaking news just in from Reuters -- Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony became the parents of twins early on Friday in a New York-area hospital, according to People magazine, which reportedly paid upward of $6 million for the photo rights.

The boy and girl, delivered in a Long Island, New York, hospital, were the first for the 38-year-old actress and singer, whose efforts to become pregnant have filled tabloid pages in the past few years. Anthony, a 39-year-old salsa singer, has a daughter and two sons from two previous relationships.

Lopez did not confirm her much-rumored pregnancy until early November, when she announced the news to a Miami audience while on a concert tour with her husband.

The trade publication Advertising Age reported earlier this week that People magazine was poised to pay the couple between $4 million and $6 million for exclusive U.S. rights to the first photos of the twins.

Britney Spears' New Lawyer Vs. James Spears - The Dad

Another controversy has yet to envelope the already confusing soap opera life of Britney Spears. In a People.com article, the man who claims to be Britney Spears's new lawyer says that the pop star is being "deprived of her Constitutional rights" and tells PEOPLE he is seeking a "return to normalcy" when it comes to Spears's living and legal situations.

Jon Eardley, a lawyer with practices in Washington, D.C., New York and Whittier, Calif., filed a complaint in U.S. District Court on behalf of Spears on Thursday. He lashed out against the existing conservatorship as a "violation of [Spears's] civil rights," and requested the case be moved from California state court to a federal court.

"I see the case as a civil rights case," he tells PEOPLE. "These are issues of confinement. Very serious confinement. Not allowed to contact her friends. Not allowed to use the phone. Not allowed to come and go as you please. Bodyguards controlling you and so forth."

Spears's father Jamie was granted temporary conservatorship – allowing legal control of his daughter's well-being and finances – after Spears was placed under an involuntary, emergency hold at the UCLA Medical Center's psychiatric ward late last month. Since her release on Feb. 6, she has spent much of her time at her Studio City home, and when she does go out, she is usually driven by a bodyguard.

In court papers, Eardley states: "She is being confined by the conservator to the private prison of her own home." On Friday, a Superior Court spokesperson said that the existing conservatorship and other orders "are still in effect," and that court officials are unaware of any federal court action or scheduled hearings on the matter.

Knight Rider Returns To The Small Screen

For producer David Bartis, creating a new KITT posed a challenge: keeping ahead of computer-driven, GPS-directed auto technology.

The crime-fighting KITT still has an artificial intelligence, and originally the voice was to be Will Arnett until a conflict of auto corporate interest arose, and KITT is now voiced by Val Kilmer.

KITT will now be played by a Ford Mustang taking the place of the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. The movie features a muscular, limited-edition Shelby GT500KR as part of a marketing and production partnership with Ford. NBC has been one of the most aggressive networks in placing sponsors' products in its shows.

Bartis explained how the movie tries to retain the lighter, action-drama tone of the original.
Bartis acknowledges that some fans of the original may object to changes with star Justin Bruening about KITT and Knight Rider.

The Battle For Britney Continues - James Spears, Father, Makes His Move

A Los Angeles Court commissioner has given the troubled singer's father - Chef James Spears power to fire her business manager, Howard Grossman, documents released Friday said - via NYDailynews.com

Grossman was ordered to turn over "all documents, records and assets relating to Britney Spears" to Jamie Spears, who is the court-appointed conservator of his daughter and her estate.

Spears' dad and mom, Lynne, previously slapped a restraining order on their daughter's manager and friend, Sam Lutfi, saying that he drugged her daughter and took over her finances.

Grossman has a cozy relationship with Lutfi, according to the celebrity Web site TMZ.com.

Grossman told People.com he knew about the closed-door hearing in the case Thursday but said he had no idea why Spears' father sought the right to fire him.

Grossman defended himself saying that "The only thing I will say is my reputation speaks for itself. I couldn't tell you why they chose this path."

Spears' parents said they feared their daughter's life was at risk after she was released from UCLA Medical Center's psychiatric ward Wednesday. The singer's affairs were placed under a temporary conservatorship when she was taken to the hospital on Jan. 31. Conservatorships are granted for people deemed unable to care for themselves or their affairs. Spears' conservatorship lasts until Thursday.

Lousy Review Of Paris Hilton's "The Hottie And The Nottie"

Los Angeles Times' CalendarLive.com just came out with a very negative review on Paris Hilton's new movie "The Hottie And The Nottie." Here's a snippet from the article:

It's not like Paris Hilton to rise above her material, but "The Hottie and the Nottie" sinks so low that all she has to do is stand upright. Cast (it must be said, against type) as chaste, self-effacing beauty Cristabel Abbott, Hilton convincingly breaks with her public persona, which is good news for her acting coach but not for the movie's prospects, since there is little evidence that Hilton's fans want to see her playing anything other than herself.

Well obviously they didn't like it. I'm not that much of a critic. I see her legs, her face and I feel all better. You'd have to be pretty stupid to expect a real movie from Paris Hilton. People go to look at her and not to think about some serious story plot. I've seen a lot of her movies and I just end up appreciating the sheer nonsense of it all. Anyway, if you'd like to read the whole article, here's their movie review of 'The Hottie and the Nottie'

Kirsten Dunst Goes to Rehab

Reuters reports that actress Kirsten Dunst, who starred in the hit "Spider-Man" movies, has checked into a rehab center in Utah for undisclosed reasons, celebrity Web sites reported on Thursday, citing unidentified sources.

Dunst, 25, was said to have checked into the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center that in recent days has been home to another popular actress, Eva Mendes. Lindsay Lohan also spent time at Cirque Lodge last year when she was experiencing troubles.

The article goes on to say that even People.com cited one source as saying Dunst "is not doing well" and that people around the movie actress had been pushing her to check into a rehab clinic. Web sites for Star magazine and the TV show Entertainment Tonight also carried reports of Dunst checking into the Cirque Lodge.

A spokesman for Dunst was not immediately available to comment.

Dunst is widely known for her role as Mary Jane Watson, the love interest of Spider-Man alter ego Peter Parker, in the box office smash movie franchise.

She rose to fame as a child actress in films such as "Interview With the Vampire," and recently played French queen Marie Antoinette in director Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette."

Britney Spears Released From 14-Day Hospital Detainment Only After 4 Days

A week after being committed to the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center, Britney Spears has been released, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Unlike her entrance to the hospital last week, Britney’s release from the UCLA Medical Center went apparently undetected, a source close to the situation told Access Hollywood.

However, shortly after she left the hospital, news helicopters followed Britney as she drove a black Mercedes through LA. Each time her car came to a stop, the cameras captured hordes of paparazzi swarming the car as she sat in the driver’s seat with her window down.

According to an eye witness, shortly after 3PM, Britney entered the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Around 12 PM, Britney left the hospital through a back entrance. She was accompanied by an LAPD escort and may have changed cars as many as three times, the source added.

Police escorted Britney to the freeway, but did not accompany her to her home off of Mulholland Drive. Flanked by police and paramedics, Britney was committed last Thursday on what was supposed to be a 72-hour hold. However when her 72 hours were up on Sunday, her stay was extended for what was supposed to be an additional 14 days.

Now, just four days later, she has been released.

It is unknown, the source said, who is with Britney or who is at her home.

What Really Killed Heath Ledger?

Doctors, via ABC News, say the cocktail of drugs that killed Health Ledger — a deadly mix of powerful prescription painkillers, anxiety drugs and a sleeping pill — was not a combination that any single physician could have reasonably prescribed.

According to a statement issued by the New York City medical examiner's spokeswoman, Ellen Borakove, Ledger "died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine."

A statement later issued by Ledger's family suggests that all of the drugs found in the actor's body were in therapeutic levels, contributing to the notion that it was no single medication that directly caused his death.

Both oxycodone and hydrocodone (known by the trade names Oxycontin and Vicodin) are powerful opioid pain medications. Diazepam (Valium), temazepam (Restoril) and alprazolam (Xanax) are prescribed to treat anxiety. And doxylamine (Unisom) is a sleep aid.

But considering the powerful nature of the drugs in the mix, say doctors, it's little surprise that the drug combination turned out to be fatal.

"Any one of these drugs, in the right amount, could be dangerous or fatal," says Dr. Vatsal Thakkar, clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at New York University Medical Center.

"The fact that he was taking a number of them at the same time makes them even more dangerous," Thakkar says. "When you add in a number of classes [of drugs] that all have a sedative effect, you increase the chances of 'quieting down' the brain to the point that the victim stops breathing."

Britney Spears Makes Peace With Dad Asks To Leave Hospital

Here's a short version of the story according toPeople.com "Come on, daddy, let's get out of here. Take my hand and let's walk out of here together," Britney said, according to Jamie Spears.

Jamie told her daughter: "I wish I could, but I can't."

In court papers filed as part of his effort to take over his daughter's affairs, Jamie Spears described how he arrived at UCLA Medical Center on Sunday. Britney had called him several times while he was working as a caterer for a Super Bowl party, urging him to see her.

Jamie Spears, who had spent several hours with Britney the day before at the hospital, found his daughter lying in bed. He leaned over to kiss her, but she turned her head away.

"I love you," he told her.

"No, you don't," said Britney. She got out of bed and said, "The doctor told me you are keeping me in here."

Jamie Spears denied it, but Britney insisted, saying, "Somebody's lying. You put me in here."

After the nurse assured Britney that, "Your daddy is not keeping you here; the hospital is keeping you here," Britney turned to her father. That was when she pleaded to leave – and her father said they couldn't.

When Britney became agitated, her father started talking about her sons Jayden and Preston, now in the custody of their father, Kevin Federline.

"Do you want me to help you get your babies back?" he asked her.

Britney, "No, I have new lawyers that will help me with my stuff."

But her father had to tell her that she had not actually fired her custody lawyers, and that there were now new lawyers involved in dealing with her affairs. Jamie said that if she needed help with the custody case, he would be there for her.

The conversation ended with Britney saying that her pal Sam Lutfi had wrongfully taken some of her property and she asked her father for help to get it back. Her father said he would.

Jennifer Lopez is having twins!

Via MSNBC's Access Hollywood, Jennifer Lopez's dad, David Lopez confirmed that J.Lo is indeed having twins. The elder Lopez’s admission is the first official confirmation from the singer’s family.

"Yes, twins,” he told the Spanish language TV show, People reported. “The thing is in my family, my sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing," he said.

And he already has gifts for the impending arrivals. "In Puerto Rico it's custom to buy an azabache [jet black, stone] bracelet for babies to protect them from the evil eye, it's part of our culture," he said.

Getting right down to the gritty details, there will be no unsightly hospital gowns for Jennifer Lopez when she’s in the maternity ward. A source close to the singer reveals that she’ll be wearing couture hospital gowns instead. A source close to Lopez said that the singer’s scheduled a Caesarean section, has packed her bags and will be checking into the hospital with four pastel-colored couture hospital gowns and a coordinating robe all designed by dearjohnnies.com in tow.

Lynne Spears' Declaration And Restraining Order Vs. Sam Lufti On Behalf Of Mentally Incapacitated Britney Spears

Here's the full 14-page link of Lynne Spears' Restraining Order and Declaration against Sam Lufti, Britney Spears' manager who has said to have drugged her, harassed her and manipulated her finances, her life and belongings. The file is in PDF so make sure you have that available before you open it. He's coming out a villain in this story... Wonder how it will end...

Anyway here's a section of the E!Online article on Lynne Spears and her declaration:

Lynne says her daughter met Lutfi, whose full first name is Osama, "in or about October 2007" and that he has "essentially moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances."

"Mr. Lutfi drugged Britney," Lynne Spears' affidavit reads. "He has cut Britney's home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything—Britney's business manager, her attorneys, and the security guards at the gate."

Lynne goes on to say that Lutfi boasted to her directly that he ground up pills, among them Risperdal and Seroquel, and put them in Britney's food. Per the document, Lutfi also claimed Britney's doctor was attempting to get the "Toxic" singer into a sleep-induced coma.

Lutfi is also was willing to do anything to remain a fixture in her daughter's life, according to Lynne's delcaration. "If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave," he's quoted as saying.

Such remarks have terrified the Spears family.

"Immediate relief is necessary to avoid the risk of physical harm to Britney by Mr. Lutfi and to allow her to undergo necessary medical treatment without interference by Mr. Lutfi," the restraining order request concludes.

A judge signed off on the harassment order Friday, ordering Lutfi from coming within 250 yards of the UCLA Medical Center, where Spears is in the midst of an extended 14-day stay, Spears' parents' homes, her siblings' homes, her children's homes and any homes owned by Spears herself.

The order is good for 21 days, though it was revealed during a conservatorship hearing Monday that Lutfi has not yet been served with the official order, as he has refused to answer the door to his Venice apartment, and that he contacted Britney over the weekend.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Lutfi said the Spears family's attempt to keep him away from Britney "won't last" and that she will ultimately distance herself from them.

"They're never gonna be able to rule her forever," he said.

Lynne Spears' declaration also includes a detailed blow-by-blow of what went down Jan. 28, prompting Britney's parents, who had largely been estranged from their daughter during Lutfi's tenure, to reinsert themselves back into her life.

Lynne claims Britney was "crying" when she called about a "big fight" between the 26-year-old and her one-man handler.

Concerned for Britney's safety, Lynne and Jamie arrived at their daughter's gated community, only to ascertain that, supposedly at the urging of Lutfi, a paparazzo friend had whisked Britney away from the house. Lutfi wanted to short-circuit any contact between parents and daughter, per the declaration.

Lynne says that, based on Lutfi's conversation with the paparazzi, "Sam disabled all of Britney's cars."

During the evening, Lynne claims Lutfi referred to her as "an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore," that Britney cared more about paparazzo beau Adnan Ghalib than her children and that "she does not deserve her kids."

"I'm the one who spends 24/7 with your daughter," he said, per the declaration. "I sleep in cars outside her house so she can't leave. You people throw everyone under the bus...if you don't listen to me, I'm going to make your name s--t in the papers."

Lynne says paparazzi were freely invited into Spears' home by Lutfi, treating him "with great respect" and, at times, "like a general."

As for Ghalib, Lynne says he confided to her he feared for Spears and that Lutfi not only hides the singer's phones (blaming her for "losing" them) but also denies her access to her dog, London.

Lutfi is no stranger to restraining orders, having been on the receiving end of at least three others since 2004; one was requested by a former condo neighbor, the second by a woman overseeing his escrow account and the third by a former friend in a money dispute.

BBC News just released that teen pop sensation Hannah Montana has topped the North American box office with the new 3D film of her recent tour.

Here are the top 4 on the charts:
  1. The Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds took $29m (£14.7m)
  2. The Eye - $13m (£6.6m)
  3. Romantic comedy 27 Dresses with $8.4m (£4.3m)
  4. Juno was fourth with $7.5m (£3.8m).

  6. Rambo 4 dropped from its opening week second place to sixth with $7m (£3.5m).

The Hannah Montana movie was helped to the top spot by higher admission prices charged by cinemas because of the 3D format.

The film was shown in just 683 cinemas compared with the 2,436 cinemas showing second-placed The Eye.

Britney Spears Update - 14 More Days In Psych Ward

NYdailynews.com just reported that pop princess Britney Spears will have to reside UCLA Medical Center's psychiatric ward for 2 more weeks! Psych ward doctors extended Britney Spears' stay in her padded room by two weeks Sunday as her parents were due back in court today to get tighter control over the troubled singer's life and finances.

They've diagnosed Britney with severe bipolar disorder in the renowned neuropsychiatric unit at the UCLA Medical Center.

Legal code had to be cited just so hospital staff members would be allowed to extend her stay. Treatment is deemed necessary for those who are found to be gravely disabled or a danger to themselves or others, a hospital source told The Associated Press.Britney Spears was forcibly taken to the hospital Thursday and first committed under section 5150 of the state code.

A source mentioned that she's staying in a padded room. Wow just like those mental asylums we see on TV? That must be rather alarming. Don't people just become crazier in places like those? Spears, 26, will remain on lockdown at the facility where, according to People.com, she can wear her own clothes and have her belongings with her.

She can accept visitors and make phone calls from a public pay phone and take smoke breaks on the center's deck, which is gated and surrounded by a metal fence. Her doctors check in on her at least once an hour, even during the night.

The article continues to say that the 14-day extension will likely be cited today by the fallen pop princess' dad, Jamie Spears, when he goes back to court to get his designation as conservator of his daughter's estate extended as well. Court Commissioner Reva Goetz gave him and a lawyer control Friday and issued a restraining order against Osama Lutfi, the pop star's friend and sometime manager, ordering him to keep away from Britney.

Britney was reported to have launched into a profanity-laced rage when told Daddy was now in charge, screaming, "Nobody's going to take my house!" and "Who is my family?" Spears could legally ask to fight her dad in court, but it was unclear last night if she would.

Terry Wasserman, an L.A. attorney who specializes in mental health cases, warned that Spears could be tied "to a bed by leather restraints" if she becomes combative. "In extreme, life-threatening situations - when the patient is a threat to one's self or medical staff - a psychiatrist can inject a person with psychotropic medication," Wasserman said.

Doctors can also force a patient to take prescribed meds, Wasserman said. "If he or she resists taking the meds, the psychiatrist can obtain authorization to forcefully medicate the person," she explained.

The poor girl is losing her mind. Maybe this isn't media hype anymore and she really does need help? I do hope someone is taking her seriously over there.

Britney Spears' Most Recent Hospitalization

Wow Newsweek just published the update on Britney Spears and her sad case. What is going on with this pop princess? I think she's a little obsessed with all this attention, but I think the world is also a little obsessed with her. Anyway, here's the latest on pop princess Britney Spears and her latest visit to her now favorite hang-out - the hospital.

Newsweek reports that capping months of increasingly bizarre and troubling behavior, pop superstar Britney Spears had to be rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning for an involuntary mental health evaluation. Paramedics assisted by a line of Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle cops broke through the crowd of 100 paparazzi surrounding her hillside home to transport her to UCLA Medical Center. It was the second time in a month that authorities forced Spears to be involuntarily hospitalized; she spent two days at a medical facility in early January after she refused to hand over her two children to ex-husband Kevin Federline and barricaded herself in her bathroom with her one-year old son. Since then, she has lost custody of her children and seemingly accelerated her downward spiral, occasionally speaking in a faux British accent.

What is up with that British accent? Sometimes I wonder if this is really a breakdown or a reality sitcom... maybe we'll see a new reality show on ABC or CBS that says - "Britney Spears - her so called life"

The latest episode began when Spears' psychiatrist and family members alerted the LAPD about their concerns for her mental health and gathered at the star's home late Wednesday evening, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. By 11 p.m., her neighborhood was teeming with photographers and camera crews, prompting an extensive police presence to manage the crowd and finally escort her to the hospital at 1 a.m. The scope and purpose of the police effort—as well as its reported (cops dispute it) $25,000 price tag—have sparked a debate: How should public resources be managed when dealing with celebrities? And, when it comes to Britney Spears, when is enough, enough?

Terrible Review Of Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Concert 3-D

Here's a very negative review of Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus' Best of Both Worlds Concert 3-D. It starts with the author complaining about how much the thing actually costs - $15, and how he got nothing out of it, but for your reading pleasure - here's a snippet: (for those that have more time to read, here's the original Washington Post article)

You get no sense of her life as the daughter of country entertainer Billy Ray Cyrus ("Achy Breaky Heart"), how she got her role on the Disney Channel series on which this concert was based, how she handles the rigors of a Disney life, how she rehearses or improves on the songs of committee-level competence that make this short movie seem endless, endless, endless.

Oh, but wait. It's in 3-D, a gimmick truly on the cutting edge in . . . 1953. (I was waiting for Vincent Price to duet with Miley Cyrus. No luck.)

The technology gives you the joy, if you are 12 and not a critic, of being totally assaulted with an overcompensating sound system and the sensation of being amid a sea of prepubescent hands and their squealing owners. One stagehand rightly likens it to standing near a jet at takeoff.

You get Cyrus's long blond mane whisking your face, and her tongue sticking out many times, as if to emphasize that she just took you for $15. Little brat. And her drummer sure likes to twirl his sticks. They nearly poke you in the eye at times.

After 10 minutes, you start wishing that would happen.

No serious viewer was expecting the filmmaking talent here -- director Bruce Hendricks and choreographer Kenny Ortega -- to make "The Sorrow and the Pity." But the sorrow and the pity is that they have taken this concert film too literally. It is strictly a pastiche of the recent 69-city tour featuring Cyrus.

Complaints arose that concert tickets were too pricey (though movie tickets are $15, even for kids, and even for the matinee we attended) and hard to get, and so Disney made this limited-run movie to reach fans robbed of Cyrus's promising vocal ability, completely affected stage persona and defiantly inarticulate speaking style.
