Anyway some hot pictures of Lindsay Lohan after being paid close to $1M to pose for Playboy was a pretty good move.Images got leaked before it got out, which I think was a smart way to test the waters on how people felt about her going back down the sexy route. Just a few weeks ago, images of Lindsay Lohan's supposedly January/ February cover for Playboy magazine was leaked all over the internet. I have reason to believe this was no accident. According to the hacker on Daily Mail UK, the images were already on a peer to peer sharing site when he posted them. The images were not low resolution but in fact, pretty good.
Which leads me to believe this is a marketing ploy. Why wait until the next year to cash in on leveraging the career of a troubled starlet? The Lohan camp has announced that the images are "absolutely fantastic and very tasteful," even Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner promises the pictures will be "very classy."

I'm not sure if Scarlett Johansson is just having a run of bad luck or getting free promotion after a marriage fall-out. Just last month she was the victim of an online scandal where nude photos of her were released on the internet. Apparently her phone was hacked and her pictures posted everywhere online.

FBI has already identified a suspect and looking into giving the guy 100 years in prison for hacking not just Scarlett's phone but others as well.

I understand how this would upset anybody given that these were personal photos taken from her and posted for the world to see. Not that we haven't seen much of these before (for a fee anyway). But I'm quite impressed with the way the press is handling the incident this time. The likes of Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus would be accused of putting this up themselves but the authorities are actually taking Scarlett Johansson seriously. That's a good sign. In terms of integrity, people kind of know she wouldn't do this to herself

They've been so public with their relationship I guess it becomes the natural follow up question. But given that my daughter adores Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, I'd like to hope it's not true. If you're like me and you're a TV junky, you'd know that there's a new series out called Secret Circle about young witches. I just saw the pilot episode today. It was quite amusing. For the benefit of those who haven't seen it, here's the trailer

There's the bad girl - hair tied back with rather thick eye liner. The innocent looking star - very similar to Robin Tunney from 1996 and the girl on the left looks a lot like Neve Campbell too. They also have a curly co-star very much like Rachel True

Now I don't know about you but it looks like they just copied the formula and added a few twists to it. Of course some of the more advanced cinematography is always appreciated

Rumor is out that Justin Bieber will be taking over the series Punk'd in lieu of Ashton Kutcher. Apparently the first vicitom will be Taylor Swift. Not that exciting if we all know about it now, but I haven't really seen Justin Bieber in action yet (I mean outside of him singing girly songs). I heard he was good on CSI but I still have to see how good he is as a host. Justin Bieber is pretty lucky to be getting so many opportunities to do a variety of things. Unlike other young stars, he got to appear on many different kinds of shows doing a lot of different things aside from singing.

I heard he waited for Usher in an open parking lot just to be able to submit his demo tape. I guess it paid off. But how will he do as the new host of Punk'd? I don't think it'll be that good, but I could be wrong.

"I'm used to having a script in a movie, or a big performance with a cane and a microphone, and I have all kinds of stuff going on ... You're [not always] getting me."

Looks like it's all-out drama in the newest season of American Idol. I've got nothing against it, but I think they should have a judge with balls much like Simon Cowell. It takes a lot of guts and a lot of confidence to be able to boot someone out and say to their face that they won't make it. And sometimes some people just can't handle it. It's too bad that Jennifer Lopez is having a hard time. I think she's a great artist and can probably spot a star when she sees/ hears it better than previous judges, but if the pressure is just affecting her like that maybe this isn't the job for her - right?

American Idol is also quite the heart wrencher, bringing in all these sensational stories about people's past. Of course people will be vulnerable to seeing someone physically disabled or have someone in their life who's sick. The great back stories are being put way up front and can cloud people's judgement on who really has talent.

Reports are in that his locks are listed on the internet auction site with the current top bid at $7,200. Now that's a lot of disposable income! The sale is said to end March 2 and the unusual item has so far attracted interest from 61 users. Ellen deGeneres was pretty smart to have put them on sale after receiving it as a gift in last week's show. Good thing she's lesbian and doesn't find them as appealing.

According to the article, he said, 'That's my hair. I'm giving pieces of it to different people. We're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want to.'DeGeneres is donating all proceeds from the auction to animal rescue foundation The Gentle Barn.

Fox just made it official: Ellen DeGeneres' much-criticized tenure as the fourth judge on "American Idol" has sputtered to an end after just one season. I sort of liked her there. It's too bad that Simon Cowell also left just recently.

American Idol must be trying to get out of a rut, given nine seasons? That's a long time to keep momentum though. They've managed to get this far. They must be running on profit already.

Remaining judges will be Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. They'll have to find another demon judge to be as blunt and entertainingly hateful as Simon Cowell. Rumor is Jennifer Lopez is about to join the gang, her music experience is okay I guess. But how good she is at being candid I'm not so sure.

This will have to be an exercise in re-energizing and rebranding the show. Good luck!

This is just ridiculous. Charice Pempengco famous Filipina international singer is undergoing cosmetic treatments to look better for Glee and she's getting loads of criticism for doing so. Here's may take on this issue

1. It's none of our business
2. So she's young, it's still none of our business
3. It's a consequence of the job she decided to take. It will depend on her which is more important - keeping the same face (free of cosmetic enhancement) vs. appearing on glee?
4. Go on Glee and look like a domestic helper
5. Go on Glee and hope that her vocal prowess will overshadow her limitations in height and physical appearance (which are probably just some of the reasons she didn't make it in the Philippines - yes, people can be rather harsh when you decide to put yourself out there)

The big problem here really rose out of going public with the said operations and treatments. It should be kept under wraps until people just saw the final output so to speak. They're causing a great deal of anxiety on all sides over what could very well be nothing

Anyway first round of articles I read about this, basically said Megan Fox was out because Michael Bay mentioned something about a new female lead for Transformers 3. Not a bad decision I'd say after Megan Fox practically dissed him about being difficult to work with (like Hitler).

But I just come across an article recently that according to Megan's rep who discloses to PEOPLE, the 24-year-old brunette beauty will no longer be casted in 'Transformers 3,' which was her own personal decision to move on.

And another article reasoned, Megan Fox allegedly quit Transformers 3 after a blazing row with director Michael Bay over her weight. According to The Sun, Fox's dramatic weight loss raised alarm bells with Bay as the 45-year old felt that Megan looked 'unhealthy' and wanted her to gain weight if she wanted to reprise her role as Mikaela Banes in the third installment.

According to a detective's affidavit, Brown and Rihanna got into a fight early Feb. 8 after the "Umbrella" singer checked her boyfriend's cell phone and found a text message from another woman.

Brown pulled his car over and tried to push Rihanna out, but she was still wearing her seatbelt, Los Angeles police Detective De Shon Andrews wrote. He said Brown pushed Rihanna's head against the window, punched her with his right hand, and then continued driving while hitting her, the affidavit states. He also bit his girlfriend on the ear, the affidavit states.

The affidavit was filed as part of a search warrant request for the phone records of Brown, Rihanna and her assistant.

Brown allegedly threatened to kill Rihanna after she pretended to leave a phone message with her assistant, telling her to have the police waiting at her house.

Andrews described Brown's blows as causing Rihanna's mouth to fill with blood. He also writes that Brown tried to choke Rihanna after she took the keys to his car away. Andrews wrote that Rihanna nearly lost consciousness but also tried to fight back while in the car, at one point trying to gouge at Brown's eyes.

Brown was arrested hours later and booked him on suspicion of making criminal threats. Police said at the time a woman identified Brown as her attacker during an early morning dispute in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood.

I haven't seen Slumdog millionaire yet, but because it won the Oscar's I certainly am. Anyway I started my research straight away. So what's it about?

It's about this kid who's about to win "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." One question away he gets dragged off on suspicion of cheating. This is where his story begins. He then tells of his adventures in Mumbai (where he grew up) and the apparent answers to the almost impossible questions just take form. In the end, it's just about life and love. It's cliche to think it's about a girl yet again. But it also reminds us how simple really life can be and how complicated we can make it.

That's the plot I guess, but if the Academy Awards think it's a great movie then I've got to go see it for myself.

Justin Timberlake was awarded most stylish man in America right in time to launch his clothing line fashion show. Timberlake said in the March issue of GQ that he got his sense of style from his stepfather, Paul Harless, a banker who laid out his suit for the next morning every night and went to work looking "like Richard Gere in (American) Gigolo." Now that's cute

He's also quite practical, with a form over function flair signature style of wearing a suit with sneakers. According to Justin Timberlake, "I just put sneakers on because I couldn't dance in the shoes I had. I couldn't leap with just insoles and dress shoes. I would've hurt myself."

From an image of near-perfection, both Rihanna and Chris Brown had practically everything - great careers, incredible fortune, not to mention worldwide fame.

This all came crashing down though last Feb-08, yep I read the news online but have been too busy to blog recently. It's sad but true. The day-job can hamper a lot of things. But we need to make money so what the heck

Anyway the night ended with Rihanna being rushed to a nearby hospital and Chris Brown being held by authorities.

Chris Brown has mentioned his apologies:

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writing under my name are frauds."

So far nobody's talking about the details of the incident though, I wouldn't dare speculate what has happened since a lot of people already have. Particularly after this photo was leaked on TMZ. Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that's what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack. Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We're told the photos alone are "devastating proof of abuse." And we've learned it was not Rihanna who called 911. Someone in the area heard her screams and called.

No duh! If you look like that, obviously someone did hit you with something. The last word so far has been from Rihanna

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown," the statement read. "She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."

American Idol's “Bikini girl” Katrina Darrell just got booted off the show! That was a shame I thought she was quite a looker. The voice wasn't all too great but she could be a star. Apparently other companies like Playboy thought the same. Bikini Girl though was quote in an interview to have had a difficult time with new judge Kara DioGuardi.

As for why Darrell wore a swimsuit to her first AI audition, she explains, “It was 110 degrees in Phoenix and I heard that people wait 15 hours and don’t even get to audition so I figured, what the heck. At least I'll be tan." ---> Yeah Right! As if getting the male judges' attention just wasn't part of the ploy... not that it wasn't a good idea. She certainly got Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson's attention right? So I think she pulled it off

As “Idol” fans know, Katrina was axed from the show during Hollywood week after failing to impress the judges in a group audition. During the show, Katrina was shown heading to bed while her fellow group members stayed up practicing.

She claimed she practiced a lot more than what was shown but I guess they were just preparing to show her the door right? So there you go. Anyway Bikini Girl is also noted to have a huge crush on American Idol host Ryan Seacrest whom she has kissed numerous times.

After barely a year of being free of the limelight - the scandalous limelight I mean, here she is again being haunted by critics for her "goofy" face. Apparently this picture of her with her friends shows her in a "racist" pose according to many-an-article I've come across

Says Newsday, the underwear model-dating, Vanity Fair photo-posing Disney star chalked up another controversy this week when a picture surfaced of her pulling up the corners of her eyes in a slanted fashion - an image considered insulting to Asians.

The Organisation of Chinese Americans criticised Cyrus for setting "a terrible example for her young fans".

Miley Cyrus though bites back this time with these things to say:

"I've been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces! ... In no way was I making fun of any ethnicity! I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy? It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would have been anyone else, it would have been overlooked."

The title sounds decent enough but if you really read through the lyrics, it is a rather nice code for F-U-C-K me, just say "if you seek amy" really fast.

Underworld 3 Rise of the Lycans - Is this prequel sexy enough?

Underworld just gave us an amazing view into the vampire and werewolf world. I don't care about how critics just put down how the story was so very over-complicated and everything apparently was a little too convenient... sure the plot had its flaws but come on Kate Beckinsale is worth every minute of it. Rhona Mitra now attempts to liven up the screen in the new adaptation.

The new prequel coming out early 2009 though, called "Rise of the Lycans" has another star in place. Although it does have the same bad guy with Bill Nighy’s return as Viktor . Apparently in the middle ages the vampires wanted better slaves and so they combined wolves with humans... hmm bad idea don't you think?

Although Rhona Mitra doesn't look bad, without Kate Beckinsale she has some really tight bums to fill (if you know what I mean)

I just heard about this. After a long moratorium from blogging as a result of having a day-job, I'm back on the horse with celebrity news hotter than ever.

Madonna's nude pics (full frontal) from about thirty years ago are being auctioned on Christie's on February 12. The bidding starts at $10,000 and to think she must have made only $25 for these pictures at the time when she was trying to made ends meet as a struggling model back when she was a model.

Here's one of six shots taken by photographer Lee Friedlander that were sold to Playboy magazine, whose editors published them in 1985.

Madonna posed for the full frontal at the age of 20 after responding to Friedlander's newspaper ad seeking a nude model in 1979 during her time as a struggling dancer in New York.

Christie's auction house will put the set, including one semi-clothed photo captured by Helmut Newton, on the auction block right here on the Christie's website

It's sad that someone is trying to make big bucks out of Madonna's past life. Some capitalizing entrepreneur is trying to make a quick buck on Madonna's well-founded fame and fortune. Madonna will probably attempt to buy these photos

She's still quite beautiful. I think it's a lot of bull and excuses for the most part, she talks about Kevin Federline and Justin Timberlake. It's nice to see her speak for herself after all this time of havoc in her life when everyone else seemed to speak for her.

In fairness to Kevin Federline, he didn't make much of a scene when Britney Spears was going through her nervous breakdown. Although he was a no-good husband for not taking care of her, but he didn't cash in on the inside dirt of Britney Spears at the time when it could have made him the most money (I think).

He's speaking up these days though with a feature on one of the most prominent magazines around on the "inside scoop" of his relationship and separation with Britney Spears. Apparently he was the "good" guy while Britney was the "bad" girl. Not that it means anything to me, it's their life after all, but they should keep the lines clear. In the end though, he speaks well of Britney and is glad for her recovery

There's a lot of speculation as to why he finally decided to speak up. For the most part it's about the money, but for some they made him look rather angelic in that he knew it was the right time because Britney was getting better and it just seemed like a bad memory.

Mariah Carey recently got pissed at her new husband Nick Cannon for spilling the beans on their "no sex before marriage" deal. No wonder they got married in a hurry! A boy that age would do anything to get laid. Anyway it's pretty hard to believe a woman that looks like Mariah Carey could go without sex for so long. In all her photos she looks like she's asking for it all the time.

This is a little embarrassing I think for Mariah Carey as she has been literally parading herself around for the last few years not only as a singer/ song-writer but of course as the sexy bomb shell that she is (given the boob size and the typical skirt length - or lack in length I should say).

Anyway, it's even more queer that she has to defend her virginal, old-fashioned way by saying that her relationship with then young beau - Nick Cannon wasn't completely devoid of intimacy, only that they avoided it in the "biblical sense" whatever that's supposed to mean. I mean what does it really matter? Mariah Carey is almost 40 years old? What's the big deal?

She's not that angry at young hubby Nick Cannon though, at the same time defending him saying that she didn't tell him to keep it a secret in the first place so she probably forgives him. It's a little silly I have to admit, making a big deal of it. Image conscious much?
