Since I'm on the roll with all these pregnant celebrities, first Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and then Jessica Alba, and now, none other than the famed goodie two shoes sister of pop sensation Britney Spears - Jamie Lynn Spears.
If you don't know her name I really don't blame you. I didn't either. Aside from the fact that she's Britney's younger sister, she never really made it into the Hollywood "let's-talk-about-her" limelight as much as her sister has. Anyway just so you know, she's 16 and she's pregnant. She did say that she didn't want to be followed and that although she doesn't want to be judgmental about it, she's already in the predicament herself - so her opinion there does seem moot now doesn't it?

The article goes on to say that Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday.
What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in."
Her boyfriend who is 2 years her senior is also a minor - Casey Aldridge. There was an article that mentioned the legality of this conception but I think it didn't go anywhere because they're both under-age anyway.
Nickelodeon released a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
