Yes ladies and gentlemen you read right. Katherine Heigl star of "Knocked up" and "27 dresses" has refused an Emmy nomination for her role in Grey's Anatomy.
Why an actress would refuse such an honor? I personally would have just been pleased as punch to get an acknowledgment like that but unfortunately, she didn't believe she had the right material to merit such an honor. Sounds nice doesn't it, she sounds like she's made of the right stuff. Not someone who will just hog the glory
