The Jonas brothers are finally stepping up. Being on the heels of Miley Cyrus/ Hannah Montana, it's nice to see someone else get in the spotlight as well. Jonas Brothers is scheduled to be the first act for the coming MTV Movie Awards. This implies 2 things.
- The Jonas Brothers have finally become marketable commodities. They are now worthy of stepping on the same stage where Madonna and Britney have stood in their better days. The star power quality has been acknowledged.
- MTV is turning to a much younger crowd - younger screaming girl crowd to be more specific. This is a double edged sword for MTV. It seems MTV wants to target the younger audiences with the seemingly wholesome Jonas Brothers while still trying to be edgy with Mike Myers hosting the show
