Christina Aguilera is releasing a new album composed of her greatest hits just in time to match Britney's new single "Womanizer." Coincidence? I don't think so!

Anyway, that's the way the worm turns so we should all get used to the rivalry of those 2. One thing I am concerned about is Christina Aguilera's image which hasn't changed much in 10 years. Considering she's been in the business for the last 10 years, growing from bubble gum pop to sexy party music still has her sporting the same look.

Although I prefer that over Britney's floor beaten look last year, so better no change than worse change? Still would be good for her to do "some" re-invention. That is after all how celebrities stay in business. It's going to be more difficult for her this time around when so many other talented singers have joined the rat race.

Christina Aguilera has been criticized recently for her night-outs and she has decided to speak out and defend herself.

"I spend all day with my son," Aguilera, 27, told Access Hollywood – adding that any criticism of her late-night outings with husband Jordan Bratman is downright "mean spirited."

It's a good thing she spoke up before a tainted "bad mommy" image of her is adopted, especially after her peer - Britney Spears has been put down so many times, I guess people were looking at another target.
