Sarah Michelle Gellar Comes Back To TV - No More Buffy But "The Wonderful Maladys"

Sarah Michelle Gellar - superstar of the 90s with her hit television series, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is rumored to be making a come-back as part of HBOs new series "The Wonderful Maladys."

Variety describes "The Wonderful Malady" as a half-hour show about the story of three siblings living in New York who lost their parents at a young age. Sarah Michelle Gellar's character is described as having "a kind of zealous immaturity — like a drug addict with a to-do list." This role was apparently written by Charles Randolph with her in mind

HBO recently bought the script and is aiming to shoot the single-camera pilot early next year. Gellar and Randolph will serve as exec producers should the project go forward, along with Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Not exactly the put-together, super-heroine type she played in her well-acclaimed television series, but I'm sure going to be see if she can make the role her own. It would be nice to see her out of that "Buffy" stereotype everyone has her in.

It would be such a shame to lose sight of this very hot and very sexy celebrity. Just so you can relate to how much I admire her beauty and overall hotness, here's a review

She not only does it because she's hot, she also does it for a cause. This last nude picture of her was done to help raise £1,000 for skin disease sufferers.

See Jennifer Aniston in 30 Rock!

After a rather poorly handled break-up with John Mayer, who had to make a stupid speech about it, Jennifer Aniston is getting back in the limelight with a guest appearance on hit television series - "30 Rock." She'll be in good company with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey.

Seems like the best way to get back on the horse these days is to guest on a television show - it has done well so far for Britney and Lindsay, here's hoping it'll brighten up Jennifer Aniston as well.

It would be a shame for a hottie like Jennifer Aniston to fall to pieces over a character like John Mayer. No offense to John but Jennifer Aniston is just one of the most amazing celebrities in Hollywood and she has done better than him (uh-hmm... Brad Pitt for instance) and she will definitely do better. Just look at her!

Watch Out For '24' TV Series Telepic Prequel Set for Fall

If you're a fan of the television series '24' starring Kiefer Sutherland then you better watch out for the two-hour 24 prequel for the fall to help bridge the two-year gap between the sixth and seventh seasons of the series.

The show, which did not air at all this season because of the writers' strike, will return for a seventh cycle in January 2009. Eight episodes were in the can before the strike began, but Fox decided against airing a partial season and breaking up the flow of the real-time drama, opting instead to hold the eight episodes and give the show its usual January launch, with the prequel telepic set for fall to whet fans' appetites.

Filming on the remaining episodes of the seventh season, which features the show's first female president, played by Cherry Jones, will begin in April. Fox has not commented on the telefilm or its plot, but the Reporter states that the show has begun securing cast members for its production.
