When Mrs. Cruise Gets Overshadowed By Mr. Cruise

Katie Holmes recently premiered in Arthur Miller's play, “All My Sons,” and although there hasn't been that many raves about her acting - there haven't been any complaints either - which leads me to believe, she might still have a career left in show business that is not so tightly roped into her marriage to more famous half - Tom Cruise.

Unfortunately though, Tom Cruise's fame may also be Katie Holmes' downfall. Outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway at this week's preview to her new play, there were 30 protesters who wanted to "Free Katie" from Scientology, as her husband - that's Tom Cruise, was in the audience with his full entourage.

Previews of the Arthur Miller drama begin Sept. 18, with opening night set for Oct. 16. The limited run ends on Jan. 11.

Katie Holmes will join an all-star ensemble that includes John Lithgow, Dianne Weist and Patrick Wilson.

Instead of $100—the average price for most Broadway shows—premium seats for All My Sons' evening performances are expected to go for a whopping $251, while regular seats will sell for $116. During the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas, those prices are expected to soar at least $100 higher.

I bet Tom will buy a bunch of those for the family!

Tom Cruise Gets Persnal On The Oprah Winfrey Show

An AP source leaked some personal highlights of the Tom Cruise's 25 anniversary special guest appearance on Oprah.

This included some parts of his childhood, his wife - Katie Holmes, his daughter - Suri, his passion - Scientology and some interesting tidbits in his life since he danced in his trouser in "Risky Business." There sure will be a lot of things to talk about, which is probably why the show will be a 2-part special for Oprah. This will have to be 2 of her most highly rated episodes then as these will be full of special guest appearances as showbiz superstars congratulate Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise is said to be in talks to star in a 4th installment of Mission Impossible and he will next be seen in "Tropic Thunder" which will show in August 2008. This is Ben Stiller's movie, but apparently Tom Cruise will make a cameo appearance as a bald fatty! That should be something to watch out for.

Possibly the most famous 2-year-old in the planet just had her birthday last April 18 - Happy birthday Suri Cruise, daughter to Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. What a lucky kid! Wait does Scientology allow birthday parties?

Katie Holmes was going for the Cleopatra look when she decided to get this haircut. She looks much older and in this picture much taller than hubby Tom Cruise. This was taken in Germany where Tom Cruise was set to receive an award. But Katie Holmes seems to have stolen the spotlight sporting her new do.

Guess she has to live up to being married to Tom Cruise. She doesn't look bad at all, in fact she's hot. She doesn't have to try so hard.
